{Not So} Happy Easter

If my boys look a bit pitiful in this picture, it's because they were in the early stages of coming down with a nasty stomach virus that still has the both of them and myself in the bed as I type these words. I haven't been feeling well since Thursday, Jack started feeling it Friday night, and Aidan got it on Sunday morning (on top of his double ear infection), and it has been rough! Thankfully Phillip has not shown any signs of illness, so he has been lovingly and patiently taking care of the … [Read more...]

The Gardener {Phillip Writes}

We are back home from our trip and have enjoyed a beautiful Easter day with family and friends. When I was in Ohio talking to Phillip over the phone, he read me a poem he had written. I asked him if he would mind if I posted it here on the blog, because it seemed so fitting to share with you today. Here's a little glimpse at what we have been up to...   Circle Time   Fingerplays and Songs We have been doing some Easter songs and fingerplays … [Read more...]

Preschool Learning Activties {Spring/Easter}

  I am a little late posting this for the month, but I did want to share with you the learning activities that we have been doing and will continue to do throughout this month in addition to the activities already in our rotation.   Theme: Spring/Easter   I purchased a set of plastic eggs for the boys to play with. These are fun for color matching activities as well as open/close skills.     I found this egg tray at the thrift store. They have had a lot of fun with it. Here it is being … [Read more...]
