Boys and Girls

You may remember that last summer, I always had pictures of Buddy playing with his cousins. Sadly, they moved away last fall and we do not get to see them often. We were so excited when they came to visit us last month. The little friendships picked right up where they left off.
They played and played and played. We did a little art project together painting watercolor postcards.
We also made a fun dinner called Cowboy Stew. It’s an old camp favorite. Each person takes a piece of foil and loads it up with some or all of the following: smoked sausage, potatoes, carrots, onions, pinto beans, diced tomatoes, butter, salt and pepper or other seasonings to their liking.
Then you throw the foil packets on the grill (or campfire) and cook them until the potatoes and carrots are soft. Then eat them right out of the foil with a piece of buttered bread. Yum!
We had such a fun visit with my sister and the girls. We can’t wait for the next visit!
